The Original Gate City Block Party:

A Celebration of the Gate City Community

 

Greensboro, NC

 

On Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:00pm the Gate City Block

Association, will host a community Block Party.

 

Located on The Gate City Blvd and Martin St- Douglas Park Block in

 

Greensboro NC.

 

We will enjoy live community entertainment, a talent show, vendors,

 

food, and a celebration of life for Reggae Great Psyche Wanzandae the

 

late artist, historian, and Musician.

 

We will feature live music including popular The Reggae Band Pure

 

Fiyah and a guest speaker George Gilbert.

 

There will be activities children, vendors, and food.

 

A Ray of Sun Organization will be coordinating a book bag Giveaway  with a donation of cans goods for the Urban Ministry.

 

 

The community is invited to attend and this is a free event.

ONE LOVE UNITY in the COMMUNITY PEACE RALLY

 

SPOT TV – Paradise Restaurant and other community leaders have come together to produce a One Love Unity in the Community Peace Rally.

On Saturday November 5, 2016 from 1-4pm a Unity Rally was held at Paradise Restaurant located 2006 Randleman Road, Greensboro, NC in the Parking lot.

Attendees will have an opportunity to express themselves through open mic, poetry and reflections.

We enjoyed The Wonderful Sounds Pure Fiyah Reggae Band that performed Live. Also performed Irie Child, Poet

Clement Mallory.  DJ-T-Shep and Sounds provided by DJ Services.

This event was hosted by Busta Brown

Politicians and Community Leaders Attended and show support and encouraged the Community

The Event was filmed and aired on SPOT TV on Cable 8 in Greensboro, North Carolina

This event was Free and Open to the public.
