Shirley Clinton. I was born in Newark, N.J. and raised in Greensboro, N.C. I have 7 sisters all of who are musically inclined.
I first started singing at the age of 9 and joined my first band at the age of 18 called The Mighty Majors. My first Solo Album: You Mean the World to Me was released in 1992, second album: So Love was released in 2009 under the name of QueenieToVahn.
Lastly my third album: Just Think About It was released May 2011.

Music runs through my family bloodline. As some of you may know George Clinton, lead singer of Parliament and the Funkadelic, is my uncle.
